Storage Equipment Safety Service Ltd (SESS) was established in 1987 by Philip Pinel. The company initially positioned itself as an international professional service provider for the safety inspections of storage equipment. Today, SESS is a company fully dedicated to the inspection of warehouse installations.
Storage Equipment Safety Service Europe
Since March 2006, SESS has also been represented on the Belgian market, and in 2009, Storage Equipment Safety Service Europe was founded. SESS is active in the Benelux, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Poland.
Certificates
We carry out all our racking safety inspections in accordance with BS EN 15635:2008. SESS is BSI ISO 9001-2000 certified, and is a cooperating member of SEMA (Storage Equipment Manufacturers Association), is a member of UKWA (United Kingdom Warehousing Association, IWLA (International Warehouse Logistics Association) and MHIA (Material Handling Industry of America). All our inspections are carried out to SEMA, FEM, OSHI and ANSI standards and guidelines.
